This publication is heavily focused on what the scientific world refers to as “self-reported experiences outside of a controlled environment”. In other words, it features self-reported experiences during psychedelic “trips” following consumption of psilocybin, aka magic mushrooms.
With the ever increasing interest in psilocybin as a promising treatment to various mental disorders, such as treatment resistant depression, the aim of the publication is to shed light on individual experiences and explore how these contribute to our perception of life and subsequently impact our wellbeing.
Our hope is to contribute to a better understanding of this naturally occurring substance, because we strongly believe that one day - very soon - this treatment will be available to those who need it - in a safe environment and without the fear of prosecution.
If you would like to help us on our mission and have direct experience with psilocybin, please consider sharing your own story.
